In 2013 Certita and Eurovent Certification Company merged their certification activities within a new corporation called Eurovent Certita Certification (ECC). The majority owner in the corporation is Eurovent – the largest industrial association founded in Paris in 1958, which now has over 1,000 member companies from Europe, the Middle East and Africa with a total annual turnover over 30 billion euro.
ECC adheres to the stringent standards of EN ISO/IEC 17065: 2012 “Conformity assessment – Requirements for bodies certifying products, processes and services” developed by the Committee on Conformity Assessment of the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO).
The organisation offers more than 40 certification programs while its most famous quality mark “Eurovent Certified Performance” (ECP) has gained worldwide recognition. Over 67% HVACR products sold in Europe have an ECP certificate. This mark guarantees that the products underwent testing at an independent laboratory selected by the ECC itself.
The test of BlauAIR air handling units with heat and moisture recovery for large spaces were carried out according to ECP “Air Handling Units” programme ("Air Handling Units") which includes testing mechanical characteristics in accordance with the prEN1886 European standard and testing technical performance in accordance with the prEN13053 European standard.
After a successful completion of all the tests as confirmed by the certificate the results were published on the organisation website. By clicking this link you can verify the information using the certificate number, brand name or product model name, or view detailed test results here.
