Each year this grand-scale event unites leading industry experts and players, sets new development trends and provides excellent opportunities for presenting new products. This year 982 companies from 30 countries worldwide went to Nuremberg to take part in Chillventa-2016. Discussing the concept of ecodesign and avenues for reducing the adverse impact of industries on the environment set the tone for this year's event and pervaded its agenda.
Blauberg Ventilatoren presented a wide range of energy-saving equipment which helps reduce energy bills and operating costs. Single-room ventilation solutions on display were represented by VENTO heat and moisture recovery air handling units which have already earned a best-selling status. In particular, those included VENTO Eco (92% heat exchange efficiency) and VENTO Expert Duo (85% heat exchange efficiency). These high-performance units with extended functionality are ideally suited for ensuring proper air exchange in flats, houses and commercial spaces.
The new arrivals from Blauberg Ventilatoren included a number of high-tech models developed in response to the latest market trends. For example, FRESHBOX 100 air handling units provide up to 96% heat recovery efficiency without compromising noise control. The guests highly appreciated Civic single-room floor-mounted air handling unit. This new model with a built-in heater has air capacity up to 550 m3/h. Low noise emissions, outstanding energy efficiency and simple installation which does not require any ductwork make BLAUBERG Civic an ideal solution for ventilation systems in public spaces – especially for schools where structural alterations are seldom on the agenda.
Blauberg Ventilatoren also presented BlauFast system of semi-rigid ducts which are quick and easy to install in false ceilings, floors and walls. The light, compact and robust BlauFast air ducts can be combined with BlauPlast plastic air ducts thanks to universal connectors and fixtures.
The group also showcased the products offered by Blauberg Motoren which is part of the BLAUBERG Group.
Those included fans with backward-curved blades and a brand-new addition – a plug fan for the entire model range of the current EC fan offerings. The updated impeller design with backward-curved blades offered for the most popular models of fans in 190 mm, 220 mm and 250 mm diameters brings significant improvements in air performance and energy efficiency compared to the outgoing models. These impellers will be used both with standard AC fans and with the new family of EC fans manufactured in-house. The group also presented a model in a scroll casing intended for boilers with forced-induction combustion chambers. Many guests paid particular attention to EC motors – a new energy-efficient offering under the familiar brand.
The group also presented Zern Engineering, a new brand of components for high-performance energy-efficiency ventilation systems. In addition to that the visitors of Chillventa were offered a hands-on experience with the most popular and best-selling counterflow heat exchangers (including the enthalpy type) which enable both heat and moisture recovery to prevent room air from drying and improve heat exchanger efficiency.
